1998 Nintendo Game Boy Bros handheld game console
Game Boy is the first generation portable game console released by Nintendo in 1989. Game Boy is a successor product to Nintendo Game&Watch. GB has three redesigned models, namely the small-sized GBP, the GBL with added backlight function, and the colored GBC. As of 2003, GB had sold a total of 120 million units worldwide, and Game Boy was the best-selling game console before 2004. The next generation handheld console for Nintendo GB was the Nintendo GBA, launched in 2001, designed and developed by gamer Junpei Yokoi.
